May 4, 2011 — With the announcement yesterday of a new business showcase to coincide with the 2011 APEC USA conference in Honolulu this November, local news station Hawaii News Now featured 3D Travel, Inc. as an ideal candidate for the event. From the report: "Three-dimensional tours of our Islands. It's an online product called 3DHawaii. It was developed by a local company called 3D Travel. People coming to vacation in Hawaii can use it to help plan their trips. Hawaii Business magazine liked 3DHawaii so much, it named 3D Travel the most innovative business in the state. It's an example of the kind of company the (APEC) host committee may want to showcase during APEC week in Hawaii in November." Honolulu will host the 2011 APEC forum, a gathering of leaders and delegates from 21 Asia-Pacific economies to discuss regional trade and investment issues. As many as 20,000 will attend, including many of the presidents and foreign ministers of the member countries, and including President Obama.
