3DHawaii featured in Travel + Leisure blog, Hawaii Business Magazine

    Friday, October 01, 2010
The ability to fly virtually through 3DHawaii has wowed a titan in global vacationing: Travel + Leisure. In a blog post yesterday, writer Mark Orwoll extolled the site as "the coolest way to visit Hawaii short of hopping the next flight to Honolulu."
I loved the effect of flying over the beaches and mountains, like being in a sightseeing helicopter but without the need for extra life insurance. Hey look, there's Diamond Head. Over there, let's swoop down on the Na Pali coast. Mmm, I can almost smell the poi at that overpriced tourist luau!
The post included our "3DHawaii Experience" video, as well as a new video for 3DLasVegas, coming soon.

Also, mahalo to Hawaii Business Magazine for its profile of 3DHawaii and Team Vision Virtual in its October 2010 edition. In its "Innovation" column, writer Greg Wiles noted: "The unique offering and its next-generation-travel-site feel generated articles up and down the West Coast as well as in the Washington Post, TravelAge West and the Huffington Post."
It’s easy to see what the buzz is about: Visitors to 3DHawaii.com can use their mouse to fly over and through Waikiki, and the rest of the state.
TVV is building out 3DHawaii with new features popping up around the Islands (notably Lahaina and Waikiki Beach with much more to come) while it launches new 3D cities in the coming months. Virtual travel is here.
