3DHawaii featured in TravelAge West

The launch of 3DHawaii.com was profiled in "Hawaii Travel Planning Goes 3-D" in the latest edition of TravelAge West, a trusted voice of the travel industry in the West for 40 years.

It quoted Team Vision Virtual CEO Craig Carapelho as well as Starwood Hotels and Resorts, an early client of the site. From the story published in the Aug. 2 edition:

Created by Team Vision Virtual, 3D Hawaii incorporates Google Earth technology as it showcases a selection of hotels, resorts, restaurants, shopping centers, beaches, parks and visitor attractions — many in a 3-D environment — to help planners arrange vacations and business trips to Hawaii. After exploring the options, browsers can make reservations using links on the site.

The story addresses TVV's plans to roll out sites for 10 additional travel destinations in the next 18 months.
