    3D Travel, Inc. was recognized as the year's most innovative business by Hawaii Business Magazine in its 2011 Small Biz Success Awards. CEO Craig Carapelho picked up the award on behalf of his team at the awards banquet at the Hawaii Prince Hotel in Waikiki.

    One billion. That's how many times Google Earth has been downloaded since it launched in 2001, affording the world the ability to digitally soar across and explore our planet upon a platform of satellite imagery topped with 3D structures. The plug-in, released a few years later, enabled this 3D exploration within a web browser, which 3D Travel has used to build virtual destinations in Hawaii (3DHawaii.com) and Las Vegas (3DLasVegas.com).
