A-LO-HA! The floral parade had itIt was a supremely sunny day on Saturday as the annual Aloha Festivals Floral Parade wound down Kalakaua Avenue. The pau riders (pronounced Pah-OO) and their horses trotted regally down the street between convertibles bearing state political stars and marching bands, including the Royal Hawaiian Band (founded in 1836 by King Kamehameha III) and the Moanalua, Mililani and Waipahu high schools. You'll see in the video, Waipahu High School at the end showing BIG aloha spirit despite the heat and the 2.5 miles they walked. Big crowd favorite. Chee-hoo!
